Does Kaneff Golf have preferred vendors you work with?
At Kaneff Golf, we’ve worked with hundreds of vendors and appreciate them all. You are free to choose who you work with. We do ask that they are insured for your safety and ours.
Does our DJ need to bring any special equipment?
They are only required to provide their own speakers & DJ sytem. We do not charge for hook-up fees.
Do you allow event planners to manage the event?
Of course – we love event planners. An event planner is a personal decision based on the needs of the event. While we do not offer this service, we are always happy to work with your hired vendors to ensure the perfect execution of your event.
What does Kaneff Golf provide décor-wise?
We can provide linens, chair covers, tables and chivari chairs*. You are free to hire your choice of decorator for items such as centrepieces, head table décor, backdrop, mandap, ceremony backdrop, aisle runner and flowers.
*Additional rental fees may be applicable.
Candles – are we allowed to use them at your venues?
Candles set a romantic ambiance for any event. Yes, we allow candles at our venues. Please ensure they have full flame coverage from a votive.
What if I have a small sized guest list or a really large one?
We’ve got you covered. We offer spaces for as little as 10 guests* and as many as 444. The sky is the limit at Kaneff Golf.

Could we host a tented outdoor event?
Safety is important to us. Because we are a golf facility, we do not allow tented events at our golf clubs.
How about gazebos or pergolas?
Definitely. Lionhead has a beautiful gazebo used for ceremonies quite often. Royal Ontario, Carlisle, Royal Niagara and Century Pines all have pergolas ready for use. Some clubs also offer indoor ceremony sites. These extra spaces are rented in addition to your meal package. Rental fees vary based on guest count and location.
Do you have a set menu or are you flexible?
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again. The sky is the limit. We have various types of menus suited to satisfy all types of tastes. Whether you’re looking for all inclusive packages, buffet style dining, or build-your-own, our menus are designed to suit all budgets and dining styles. Want to add something to your menu? Our chefs can customize as well!
External Catering – Do you allow it?
Of course! We understand that sometimes, there’s something unique or special that you and your guests want. No problem, we welcome outside caterers at our venues. In addition, we can incorporate catered dishes to our menus. When working with an external caterer, please insure the caterer arrives with food ready to go and we provide holding ovens before meal service. Caterers are not permitted to cook onsite in our kitchens.
*Minimum guest count of 150ppl required for a meal service. Minimum guest and revenue counts are applicable based on facility and room usage
Can we BYOB?
All alcohol must be provided by the Kaneff Golf venue under our liquor license. We do not allow outside alcohol. We offer both bar packages as well as a bar billed on consumption, where we track and charge for the drinks that are ordered.
Do you do wedding tastings?
For any all-Inclusive wedding package bookings (100ppl and up) we offer a complimentary tasting dinner event. Please ask your sales representative for more details.
Do you allow photos at your venus?
Of course we do. Each venue has designated areas for your disposal. Looking for something specific? Please connect with your sales representative.
Can we explore the course and shoot at some of the holes?
Your safety is a priority for us. Due to the nature of the sport, we could not assure your safety if you shot anywhere on the course. Shooting at un-designated areas of the course is not allowed.
What are your minimum and maximum capacity limits?
Generally speaking and dependent on your venue of choice, we can fit guest sizes of 10-444. We have minimum guest count and revenue spends depending on the date, location and rooms used. Please ask your sales representative for updated numbers.
For seated events with a dance floor, capacity is as follows:
Lionhead: 50–400 guests (based on room selection)
Royal Ontario: 200 guests
Century Pines: 180 guests
Carlisle: 160 guests
Do you have a minimum guest count for external catering?
We do. Our external catering minimum guest count is 150 guests.
Do you have a minimum guest count for all-inclusive packages?
We do. Our all-inclusive package minimum is 100 guests.
What are your COVID-19 protocols?
Please refer to the provincial and regional parameters in place for your event. Your sales representative will provide the current regulations in place based on your chosen facility.
